Unwanted (and unsent) Bacn

Seth Godin wrote a post about unwanted bacn today. His post covers unintentionally sent bacn.

Quechup is the latest perpetrator us this spate of unintentionally sent bacn.

Actually, I’d call this spam.

What happens is, a user signs up for a service (such as quechup, there are others out there) and the service sneakily sends invitations to the service out the their whole address book.

I’m  kind of dissapointed because I haven’t gotten a quechup invite yet.  Is it because I’m not in anyones address book or is it that all my friends are savvy enough to not fall for such a ploy?
