New version of Gmail in the works?
A source of ours, very close to Google, let slip that they’re testing a new version of their Gmail web based email service.
Apparently Google employees and close, trusted testers are helping the company get ready for something they describe as a "new version"
Gmail was launched in April of 2004 and has changed the way web based email has worked since.
It’s all I use to handle all my email, Gmail and POP3 based 
The actual interface hasn’t changed a lot since 2004 it pretty much looks the same. With the leaps and bounds that Yahoo! Mail has been making I think it is about time that Google pulled forward in the web based email race.
*Note* Google, if you need another ‘trusted tester’ I’m sure I could find time in my schedule for you
