Starbucks testing Free WiFi – Thanks McDonalds!
"Wait!" I hear you cry. What does McDonalds have to do with StarBucks and their Wi-Fi?
Well, McDonalds has been offering free Wi-Fi in many of their locations in the US and UK now for a while. Trying to encourage the laptop using, coffee drinking crowd.
Well, this has evidently threatened Starbucks who have probably found that people tend to choose free WiFi over spending $5 per day on it.
The Raw Feed is reporting that Starbucks is testing free Wi-Fi in certain locations in California.
