CNN Fires a blogger
Strive PR is reporting that CNN fired a member of it’s staff, a blogger because of their…. blog.
Companies all over the world seem to be split on whether Social Media in and out of the workplace is a good thing or not.
Some have very strong policies against and others seem to encourage it blogging, networking, posting, commenting and the like.
Pazienza, a top CNN reporter, was dismissed from his employ when his high profile blogging came to light. He posted thoughts, opinions, and ideas to some pretty high blogs throughout the blogosphere.
Does your employer know about your social media activities?
Would they approve?
