NewEgg, please ship better!

WalMart, Dell, and NewEgg have been accused of irresponsible shipping practicesIMG_0002. Shipping small items in large boxes or multiple small items in multiple containers would certainly count as irresponsible.

I order a lot of parts online. I have a couple of favorite suppliers. NewEgg.com is normally pretty good.
I ordered a 20 - 24 pin Motherboard Power converter, it arrived on it’s own in a box that was waaay to big for it.

This thing would have fit in an envelope.

Wouldn’t it be nice if companies were a little more conscientious about their shipping. Maybe they could help the world a little and possibly even drop their prices some.

This is my pet peeve too. Office Depot and Staples are also guilty of shipping in inappropriately sized boxes. Whats worse is when a shipper uses a two inch wide piece of tape that only covers one of the two top flaps of the box.

Any ground package shipped by UPS will be loaded on a trailer. It may be on the top or it may be on the bottom. If that package is not strong enough to transfer the weight of the packages above it to the packages below it, it will likely be compromised enough to come open either during shipping or during processing in the hub.

I refuse to order print cartridges from Office Depot anymore because they started shipping them all from their one printer cartridge warehouse in nothing but a plastic bag. I called Canon and asked if I should be concerned about purchasing print cartridges that could have had a TV set sitting on top of them and they said yes.
