What are Domain Typos?

keyboard.Simply, a domain typo is a way that a user will mistype your domain name when typing it.

Domain typos are often based on proximity to other characters on the standard qwerty keyboard.

People will sometimes register typos of popular domains to redirect traffic to their own sites instead of the intended one. (Yahoo.com vs. Yaho.com) To prevent this domain owners register variants of their domains to prevent any malicious use.

See the Domain Typo Generator at PageRank.net [here]
