What is your favorite free software?

The wonderful people at LifeHacker made up a great post on “The 46 Free Desktop Software Applications, Webapps, and projects we’re most thankful for.”
It’s a heck of a title but it’s an extensive post full of great stuff.

Looking through the list I can see a few that I use daily. Let’s see how many I agree with Lifehacker on.

  1. Firefox (naturally)
  2. VLC Media Player
  3. Gmail
  4. CCleaner
  5. Picasa
  6. Google
  7. GIMP
  8. WinAmp
  9. Google Apps
  10. AVG AntiVirus
  11. Chrome
  12. Google Calendar
  13. Ad-Aware
  14. Avast AntiVirus
  15. Google Docs
  16. LogMeIn
  17. Spybot Search & Destroy
  18. UltravNC

Wow, only 18 out of 46?! I have a lot of work to do on my Apps, Webapps, etc.

What is your favorite free software? Did they miss something from the list?

    Recommend it to anyone.
Search-and-destroy Antispyware is the best scan that I have used to keep my PC clean and working like new. It’s a great scanner that finds all the same bugs that other scans such as Norton can find. What’s even better is that it cost less than many of the other options. I found the antispyware solution from Search-and-destroy at http://www.Search-and-destroy.com and decided to give it a try. That was one of the best decisions I ever made. I’m very happy with this scanner and would recommend it to anyone that wants to protect and care for their PC so it will last as long as possible.
