iPhone App: Take a picture of it, buy it on Amazon
Amazon released an iPhone app this week, rather quietly actually.
With the App you get to quickly and easily search Amazon and make the most of their one click buying, all from their iPhone. 
One of the slickest things though is the newest feature, currently being tested that allows users to take a picture of what they want, get it to Amazon an Amazon will find it for you.
It’s not really as special as it sounds I’m afraid. There is no magic, ,no special recognition software, no trickery.
What happens is, the staff at Amazon take a look at your picture, find your item and email you back within 24 hours. Think of it more as a personal shopper service.
