I spotted this pod on Current TV this morning. I figure it’s relevant and interesting so I thought I’d post it.

It’s interesting to see how people are trying to overcome stereotypes. I guess this is kind of like “Beauty and the Geek”

    The funny thing is that there was really nothing wrong with the looks of either of the featured guys in the first place! I thought this would be a lot more about the makeover part (a la Beauty and the Geek, which was absolute rubbish), it wasn't so terrible. They are bridging groups and hopefully lasting friendships are being formed, but I also think that the "bridge" could have been something other than superficial changes.
