Who do you go to for custom applications?
I have to admit, I don’t know all that many application developers. I know a couple of guys and a couple of companies locally but I’m not as well versed in the arena as I’d like to be.
I came across a company called SpiralAxis who seems to have a pretty wide array of application development talents.
SpiralAxis provides Custom Software Development for a number of platforms, web, mobile, TV, web hosting, site development and more. The staff evidently understand a number of languages too (something beyond me).
Their site is nice too! I think this is crucial when looking for a developer. There has to be an understanding of front end aesthetics as well as back end mechanics. All too often I find programmers with the design knowledge of a turnip.
Do you have a favorite developer? Do you use an individual or a company?
