Windows Police Pro hits Windows Computers
Contrary to it’s name Windows Police Pro is malware and designed to infect Microsoft Windows (mostly Windows XP operating systems) based computers.
It’s made to look like a Microsoft approved, recommended Windows Security tool.
Windows Police Pro (WindowsPolicePro) is a fraudulant single piece of trojan software that is installed when visiting malicious web sites whereupon it downloads other pieces of software to your computer.
Common Windows Police Pro infection symptoms (like much malware) are many popups, browser hijackers and prevention of other legitimate security tools.
There are a number of sites that explain removal procedures of the the malicious software.
