Do you use a laptop or desktop? 
I avoided buying a machine I didn’t build from components for a long time, but  now I currently own three laptops and am shopping for a tablet.

Apple or PC? 
I first used a Mac during an art class for college.   I tried to like it, I really did, but having to relearn quirks in an application that I was already proficient with (Photoshop) just about drove me bonkers.  They’ve done wonders for interface design (I even have an OSX style launcher in Vista), but the Windows world is where I belong.

What’s your favorite gadget and why? 
My favorite gadget will always and forever be my phone, no matter what model I may be sporting in future years.  My cell phone is an ubiquitous companion that serves as my sole alarm clock, calendar, task manager, almanac, travel guide, flashlight, navigator, voice recorder, mid-dinner fact checker, and more.  I have more applications installed on my Centro than most of my friends have on their desktops.

What do you use your computer for most? 
According to Wakoopa, I spend most of my time “communicating, doing some office tasks, and surfing the web,” but it should also be noted that I also spend a fair amount of time desiging, coding, and testing new software (I’m a beta hound).

Do you watch TV & Movies on TV or your computer? 
I rarely watch anything anywhere, but since I don’t even own a TV I confess that I will slip onto my friend’s Slingbox every once in a while.

How has tech most affected your life? 
Technology has most affected my life in the relationships it has enabled me to create.  I wouldn’t be where I am today if it wasn’t for relationships established on IRC, and I am still meeting new people every single day with exciting opportunities to share.

Do you use a laptop or desktop?
Both! I have five computers – three desktops and two laptops.

Apple or PC?
Apple hardware is beautiful. Simply amazing. However, I primarily use a PC because of Windows/Exchange/BES. I’m tethered to my Blackberry and my life depends on calendaring working smoothly. I’m thinking of switching to a Mac and running Parallels. That way, I can have the best of both worlds!

What’s your favorite gadget and why?
My Blackberry. I can’t live without it. I can do remote work via email, browse the web and keep up with what’s going on on Facebook. The iPhone is very cool, but I can’t use it due the lack of BES integration and no tactile keyboard.

What do you use your computer for most?Communication – AIM, email, and intra-social networking messaging

Do you watch TV & Movies on TV or your computer?
I do! I’ve been doing this more and more recently. I travel and am on the go quite a bit, so this is sometimes the only way I can pull of watching tv. I currently have a season pass for Chuck and I watched the entire first season of Heroes on my laptop. Sometimes I queue up shows like The 4400 and then later watch them on my Apple TV.

How has tech most affected your life?
This is one of those questions that gives you pause and makes you think of the days when you spent time at the library because information wasn’t instantly available. Information can’t be a 9 to 5 operation. I’d have to say this is how it affected my life the most. I can now find out anything I want to know at any time of the day. Also, I can communicate instantly with my business contacts, family and friends.

Both.  In the studio, we have two MacBook Pros, a Mac Pro and a MacBook.  For our personal media, we use an iMac.

Macs, although we run Vista on our Mac Pro with Boot camp.  I am expecting a Gateway One to come in the mail any day now, and I’m really excited about that.  I built a Linux-based Media Center PC, and I also have a Linux PC that I use just to learn more about Linux.

My top five favorites right now are the iPhone, Amazon’s Kindle, Drobo, Eye-Fi, and Monster Power to Go.

How has tech affected your life?
Technology has changed my life entirely.  We had a web development company before the dot com bubble burst.  After that, we paid attention to what was happening in the world of tech, but nothing piqued our interest until podcasting came along.  Podcasting changed my world, and it’s changed my possibilities.  Not just mine, either.  It opens up so many opportunities for anyone who wants to take advantage, and that’s what excites me.

To me, technology is more than just about functionality, it is about what it lets us do and in return, what it does to us.  I am passionate about the way technology brings people together, whether its fawning over the latest gadget or using Twitter to microblog. 
Social media is a revolution in the way we think about technology because it considers not only its intended uses, but also the wide-scale implications of how it affects and empowers us to interact and collaborate.
