imageAfter a long wait TechBurgh has been accepted to post PayPerPost articles.
PayPerPost is one of those services that uses advertisers to have bloggers write posts in their blogs to create some buzz, write articles and reviews about sites, products and more.

<

p>Though some people question the ethic behind these services, however I don’t see the problem.
Bloggers voluntarily sign up for the service in a hope to monetize their blog/s. This is a hard climate to monetize blogs, anyone will tell you that.
It’s not like you’re forced to write shining, brilliant reviews of the topics, sites, products etc. that you choose. In fact, if you don’t like it you don’t have to pick it and write about it at all.
The power is in the hands of the blogger.

To be a part of services such as PayPerPost your blog has to meet pretty stringent guidelines. Even be of a certain age. This discourages those ‘fly by night’ bloggers who wish to make a quick buck and disappear.

Advertisers see PayPerPost and the ‘blogosphere’ as an excellent way to get the word out there about their product. This is true, if they have something good to sell.  Of course, if what you’re writing about isn’t so hot the world will know that too.

Bloggers are (often) trusted by their readers to give honest, pointed… real reviews.  This is one of the beauties of blogging and why I like the medium, you can be so honest and candid about everything!

Just so that you know when we’re being paid for a post there will be a ‘disclosure badge’ at the bottom of each post (required by PayPerPost) however, don’t think that this dissuades us at all from blogging the truth 🙂

We’d like to know what you think about Paid to post services – drop a comment.
