FaceBook has added an ‘I like this’ kind of a function to the news page on the site.
If you log in you’ll see small thumbs up and ‘x’ symbols next to each ‘news’ article on your front page.
These are apparently so that Facebook can learn user preferences to make the system better.
If you click the thumbs up the news stays on the page and if you click the ‘x’ the item collapses and goes fades a little.
