Happy Birthday DNS!
The Domain Name System is 25 years old – (wow, nearly as old I am).
DNS is the system that converts web address names to numbers. Making it easier for us to browse the Internet.
If it wasn’t for DNS we’d have to type in a string of numbers to find web sites.
Example:
TechBurgh.com is attached to the Tubu Internet Solutions’ nameservers and resolves to 70.86.194.154
