We’ve posted on here about the online service, LifeLock that helps to protect you from ID theft online and in the Real world.
We got a press release today noting that apparently one of the US’ Main Credit reporting agencies, Experian, is pretty mad at Lifelock because they’re costing them money.
Essentially, Experian doesn’t appreciate Lifelock, as a third party, placing fraud alerts for it’s customers (nearly 200,000 of them).
In fact, this could go further than just Experian,. Lifelock seems to be irking most Credit Reporting Agencies because of their mission to protect their customers even if it is at the Credit Reporting Agencies’ expense.
CNN even did an article on the troubles between Experian and lifelock [here]
