The Pittsburgh Technology Council’s Creative Technology Network hosted the 2012 DATA Awards last night at Pittsburgh’s Grand Hall at the Priory on the North Side, presenting awards to seven regional companies at the intersection of art and technology.
In addition to honoring regional companies, the Council was proud to have world-renowned creative technologist, J. Moses, as the keynote speaker at the event. Moses traveled to Pittsburgh from New York City to talk to the DATA crowd about the next generation of social media and his new app, WeChi. In his past roles, J. has worked around the world on well-known projects such as Grand Theft Auto, BMG Interactive and MTV Russia.
