Concurrent Technologies Corporation (CTC) has been recognized for the fourth time by WashingtonTechnology magazine as a Top 100 Government Contractor. CTC has been named to previous Top 100 Government Contractor lists in 2007, 2008, and 2010. CTC ranks at number 83 on the 2011 list, up from 97 in 2010.
The 2011 Top 100 Government Contractors list is based on an analysis of data from the Federal Procurement Data System–Next Generation. In selecting the data, WashingtonTechnology’s goal is to capture the range of technology work and mission expertise that contractors provide to the federal government. The annual ranking of the top government contractors puts CTC on the list of companies whose business models and strategies are evolving rapidly to adjust to the current economic environment. Companies are evaluated on how they solve customers’ problems, support critical missions, decrease costs, and provide technology-rich products and services to the federal government.
“With the changing economic climate and government budget cuts, CTC has been diversifying and expanding its interests into new areas. The Top 100 Government Contractors list confirms that CTC is on the right track,” said Edward J. Sheehan, Jr., CTC’s President & Chief Executive Officer. “CTC climbed 14 spots on the list between 2010 and 2011, showing that we have been staying competitive in the changing marketplace while still focusing on our number one priority, providing the best total solutions for our clients.”
CTC is relentless in its quest for the best total solution for each client. That focused, goal-oriented attitude has allowed CTC to receive a number of recent awards for its innovative solutions. For example, CTC has received the TECHQuest Pennsylvania Technology Product of the Year Award, the Defense Logistics Best Technology Implementation Award, and the Defense Manufacturing Technology Achievement Award.
