For the seventh consecutive year, the Greater Pittsburgh CIO Group and the Pittsburgh Technology Council partnered to shine a spotlight on the best, most innovative CIOs in the region. In the current age of ubiquitous and pervasive technology, the role of the CIO couldn’t be more essential to driving the success of businesses, and the winners and finalists listed here are no different.
The CIO of the Year program honors individual technology executives from industry, non-profit, academia and government. Nominees, including chief information officers or those in equivalent positions, are recognized for their innovation and creativity in planning and deploying their enterprise systems, future technology goals, management philosophy and service to the industry and community.
